Amber Peterman

Amber is an Associate Research Professor at UNC where her work focuses on gender and development topics, including social protection, cash transfers, gender-based violence and women’s empowerment. She has led research and impact evaluations in over a dozen countries worldwide. Amber is the co-founder of NetGirls, a grassroots sports initiative for adolescent girls and young women in Eastern Zambia.
