Dharini holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on the long-term impacts of social safety net programs, examining outcomes such as non-cognitive skills, time use, employment, and psychological well-being. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dharini worked at the World Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests are: Social protection, Behavioral Economics, Time use and Employment, Gender norms and economic empowerment and Evidence based research.
